Project Hail Mary
While I read quite a few books every year, the vast majority are non-fiction (as you see from what I often share on here). However, I’ve been trying to add more fiction to my reading, and last year I was pushed by a variety of folks to read “Project Hail Mary“. It was fantastic!
While I didn’t track my reading time per book back then, during the week of Thanksgiving last year I read for a little over 18 hours and most of it was this. I was hooked.
Now the movie has come out, and it’s awesome. Andy Weir, the author of the book, was also the author of “The Martian“, which was turned into one of my favorite movies as well.
Since reading this last year, I’ve also read “The Grapes of Wrath” as well as “And the Mountains Echoed“, both of which were encouraged by Jeff Hilimire and Adam Walker (among others).
It’s been nice to mix up my normal business book reading with some fun ones like these, and I’ll likely continue to mix more of them in.
What have you been reading lately?
