It's the same for me. I can stick to any daily habit but not to a few days a week habits.
And this takes me to some extreme places. For example, I picked up running a few months ago. When I planned to run a few days a week, I ended up running a few times a month. When I decided to run daily I stuck to the habit, so much so that i ended up with a stress fracture in my right foot!
I should do some research on the topic but for now I'm just happy to know I'm not alone in that.
Running is a great example. I really should be running a few times a week, because I know my body can't handle it daily, but it just doesn't work. For now, I'm doing lighter exercise every day, and then perhaps I'll mix running back in soon.
