I’ve published a blog post for over 300 days in a row now, but I’ve got to admit something; sitting in front of a blank page is a killer for me. If the page is blank, so is my mind. The solution is pretty easy, though — I don’t sit in front of a blank page.
Thanks for the post Mickey, and your consistency is inspiring! This is a great idea. I have a list of blog ideas, but they are mostly title ideas, and I never put any notes underneath. A better way to do this might be to make a list of potential titles and bullet 4-5 points underneath so that I have more than one vague idea when I'm ready to write.
I've burned myself in the past when I've only saved a title idea. "That sounds interesting, but where would I go with it?"
Usually when I have an idea for a title, I also have at least a few thoughts on where to take it. Those bullet points can be GOLD if I don't get back to it for a few weeks.
