The power of Supertags in Tana I briefly mentioned Tana last month, which is a new note-taking app that I’m playing with. I’m finding it to be a very powerful tool, but their “Supertags” feature might be the best part. Rather than try to explain it to you, here is a short video that I created to show how it works:
I'm really resisting the idea of changing note-taking apps again ... but you're sure getting my attention! For 10+ years I've had the idea of a Personal KnowledgeBase. This is getting really close!
Yep, it's turning into a great system. I still think Obsidian is a better choice for most folks, but I'm really liking what my Tana is turning into.
However, I wildly underestimated how long the transition would take. Roam to Obsidian was only a few weeks, but I'm likely a few months to finish moving into Tana because things are so different. I want to get everything in there the "right" way, so it'll be of value in the future, and it's a tedious process. I'm hoping I find it was worth the effort when I'm done!
